What’s it all about?

Kids Come First offers specialist support to separated parents in private workshops or group sessions. Our unique, child-focused teaching program offers guidance on helping children through the separation or divorce process and creating collaborative co- parenting partnerships. Our professional adult trainers have family mediation & child counselling backgrounds, delivering customised support during family transitions.

How will the program help?

Becoming a separated parent is a dramatic change in anyone’s life. Many parents find themselves struggling to establish a positive, effective co-parenting relationship with their former partner – a situation that can have a profoundly negative impact on their children. We aim to help parents find collaborative solutions and keep matters out of the family courts by providing the right specialist support and expert guidance when parents need it most! We’re all about helping you cope well, so your children can too!

What options are available?

Parents can choose to attend one of our group programs, book a private solo workshop or a joint co-parenting consultation to attend together if they both prefer.

How do I make an enquiry?

Email: kidscomefirstuk@mail.com or call 0778 949 7275 for a confidential chat.

Where & when are the workshops held?

Our workshop venues in Clapham (SW4); Esher (KT10); Hammersmith (W6); Hampton(TW12) & Richmond (TW1) are accessible to parents in London & Surrey communities. Appointments are available Mon to Sat from 9am–9pm to accommodate working parents. NOTE: we offer Skype sessions for parents who are located further afield.

How much does it cost to book a workshop?

Our charges vary depending on location as follows:

  • Group workshop fee is £150 per parent.
  • Solo workshop fees from £195 – £250 (2 hr session)

Joint workshop fees from £150 – £190 per parent (2 hr session).

What if I am in Family Court proceedings?

We recognise that every parent’s situation is unique. Booking a specialist support & training session helps you focus on positive solo parenting and demonstrate an understanding your children’s needs. We issue certificates of attendance on completion.

What if I live too far away to attend a workshop?

You can access Kids Come First training or Separation S.O.S. coaching sessions via Skype to discuss issues arising from your relationship breakdown and dealing with all aspects of separated parenting. We offer guidance on managing conflict and support you through any legal process you’re experiencing.
